The thing I hate about every up to speed video, is that each one makes me want to buy that specific car. Even if I had no interest in it before, I'll want it after watching it. You guys are partially responsible for the 4Runner in my driveway right now

The way they handled the frame issue speaks volumes about the company’s customer relations!

They (Toyota) bought my 1998 Taco due to frame rust, gave me KBB excellent condition price... it was far from excellent condition, 338, 000 miles, every body panel was bent, interior well used, and the clutch was just about gone. The way they handled that is the reason I bought an 06, and last year a 2020.

I recently bought a 2021 Tacoma TRD offroad with a 6 speed manual. I've put a thousand miles on it in 3 weeks already. By far my favorite car I've ever owned!

"Tacoma" is both a Washington city and a salish (Native American tribe) word meaning "Go Beyond"

Coolest Tacoma story I’ve heard was about a green beret who literally used it as mobile cover when insurgents ambushed an outpost. He basically drifted it right up to the terrorists faces to help the defense. After the fight, it was beat to shit and had an RPG shell stuck in a quarter panel. The dude took a picture of it and sent it to Toyota with a letter of thanks for such a badass truck.

I just sold my 1999 Tacoma a few weeks ago and already miss him. I put every one of the 294, 000 miles and still had the original clutch. Ball joints were always an issue. Other than basic maintenance, that thing served me well.
I sold it to a 15 year old kid. It's going to be a father and son project. He was super stoked and so was I. It's going to a good home. The only stipulation in the sale was I get the first offer to buy it back if he ever sells it.
Almost forgot, that kid told me about this channel too. I've been sick for the last two days binge watching. 👍

I drove a 1985 Toyota pickup for about 25 years, and it was certainly the most reliable vehicle I ever had (except for the legendary rust problem). I really needed a bigger truck, so I traded it in for a used RAM work truck. But in 2017 I couldn't stand it anymore, and bought a new Tacoma as my daily driver.

My dad has drove his 2002 Toyota Tacoma back and forth from work for the past 18 years, and it still shows no signs of slowing down

I used to work at Autozone and when people would bring in their classic vehicles, I would ask for mileage. The highest mileage vehicle I ever saw in person was a t100 with over 750k miles. I’ve always wanted a Toyota truck since but I never have the money since their resell values match their durability

When you dropped that ASMR bite joke I couldn't stop laughing. These videos are just simple info most of us know about. But your level of what they call "extra" kills me! Thanks for the laughs
