i think why all might was able to use 100% from the get go is because the quirk was a lot weaker. when all might added his share to the quirk, it multiplied like crazy to where he was able to defeat AFO twice. when deku inherited it, his body couldn’t handle 100% of all might’s power. if deku received it from nana then i think he should be able to handle 100% of it.

Ah, the significance behind him being One. And the power All For One. It was all to get yoichi back (selfishness) and One for All (selfless) yoichi the "one" gives himself to everyone else accept his brother.

Symbolized by who the vestiges became symbols of peace to the world but a hindrance to All For One. The battle of wills was ridiculous.

And even more interesting, if the theft of One for All had succeeded that would have meant All For One would have had permanent access to the vestige world and could have potentially had access to/learn how to see his brother whenever he wanted.
