^How long have they been playing? A couple hands? Not really enough to prove your skill in such a high-variance game. Or has the whole lecture consisted of the class sitting in the dark watching these nitwits play 5-card draw?
^She gives him back a chip and says to spend it on a haircut, implying this is a cash game, contradicting the initial implication that it's a tournament.
^What was she planning to tell the class if he called her bluff? "It turns out I'm an idiot. Sorry, no refunds."

This was not game theory. This was a suicide move on her part. Which made her look like an idiot actually. She would've gotten rocked in a real poker game.
