I gather that Christine can only repair herself as long as she is loved. So long as nobody falls in love with the cube of metal then we're safe!

One of my favorite movie endings of all time. Not even this can stop Christine, eventually she’ll just buff out the dents and start up again. She’s done this before, it’ll just take longer. Every movie monster should have an ending like this.

"God I hate rock and roll" -Leigh,   followed by Christine's cube, which its grill slightly bends then goes back to its original position.

When getting crushed by the bull dozer Christine played “Rock and Roll Is Here to Stay”. A song saying that rock and roll will always be there and never go away. Hmmm. Kinda like Christine. Comes back after being destroyed by a bunch of thugs and crushed by a bull dozer. She played that song saying that she will be back. Love how Christine communicated through classic songs.

1:02 my god I love you Carpenter. Every ending of your movie was truly brilliant and scary. Halloween, the thing, this, escape from New York. It rules in scary ending

Yeah for good measure they better drop that cube into a smoldering furnace and melt it down into paper clips! Course then you'd probably have folks getting attacked by evil paper clips o.o

Christine at the end just like "I am not done yet"

This is one of my favorite horror movie endings, throughout the whole movie Christine just doesn’t die, just keeps on fixing herself one way or another. She’s burned, crushed, crashed, smashed, and she’s good as new. And finally, when she’s really gone, she isn’t really, and it’s only a matter of time until that junkyard finds a bright red car sitting in its lot waiting to be sold.

“Come on, come on, lets go ah again again and again and again” Christine’s final message. Letting them know she will keep returning no matter what.

Please god let there never be an unnecessary sequel. This story better as a one off with unanswered questions

There's no killing Christine. Hell on wheels, a revenant of a car... a wraith, a demon.

Here's to seeing her bend herself back into shape for a new movie

the rock song playing is called:

*come on lets go* by Ritchie Valens

who tragically passed away in a aviation accident back in 1959 at the age of 17

Yeah a sequel that starts right after when Christine starts to move. A storyline where it goes after Leigh for revenge or something would be cool.
