The Healing Power of Energy: Healing Touch

This is a documentary exploring the world of energy healing through the laying of hands therapy called Healing Touch.

@brentrn intertwined and should go hand in hand rather than be opposites at war. I think there will be many various spiritual "theories" and "beliefs" that will be proven by science in the near future. Then there will be clarity on how it all works from a scientific standpoint..

@brentrn ..-->> intruiging things that's being studies today...when they figure out exactly what it is (an energy source? The ultimate energy source and/or the stuff that binds everything together and holds lige together and "fills in the crack?" hmmm..), who knows what they'll be able to do with it. There are theories that it's the most powerful energy in the universe, but it has to be "tapped into" and put out of balance (because it's in "null time" or something like that) to use it...

@MrJohndl OK. Tell that to a qi gong master who uses this same method and can heal a broken leg within a day right before your very eyes.

@ObiWanGinobiliTopFan The Kirlian cameras demonstrate the well-know effect of passing a current through a conductive object. Both people and metal objects like coins can create a corona on a electrically sensitive plate. "Energy" healers often cite this as evidence but we are electrical wet cells with very measurable and observable electrical properties. It's how you get an ECG or even use an iPad.

@brentrn It's definitely mentioned in the book "Touch of Life", but actually now that I think of it, I think what they were measring was the energy field that surrounds the body; the same thing that some call the aura and claim to be able to see (and a Kirlian camera can take pictures of auras, though many are skeptical of these cameras, of course)...so maybe what the hands-on healers are claiming to be energy hasn't been measured, but whatever it is, some hands-on healers have a lot of success
