My sister lives in France and she has a Percheron called Fitou, he's absolutely he's about 18+ hands and weighs more than a ton.
My sister is about 5ft 10 and if she stands behind even behind his you can't even see her at all.

That last one was not a shire, but interesting fact. After WWII, there were only a handful of shire horses left and it was our royal family who helped with careful breeding to rejuvenate the breed. However, aside from the Welsh breeds and the thoroughbreds, the shire and many of our native pure breeds are on the endangered breeds lists here in the UK.
