For those wondering, this is a completely superfluous technique. John goes through the trouble of having to make an After Effects dynamic link composition, and a Cinema 4D file. A much more simpler way of attaining this just by importing your model into Photoshop, getting it in desired position and saving it as a PNG and exporting it to Premiere. Functionally, it doesn't differ at all from how John did it and it's less of a hassle.

Hi Jeremy:

The 3D warehouse is now being run by Trimble instead of Google. I just noticed they have removed the 'advanced search' function. You will need to conduct a standard Boolean search to find what you need.

I tried importing a 3D layer that I made on photoshop but my textures (the images wrapping the object) doesnt appear on cinema4D, what can I do? Thanks for the amazing video.

I have a problem can u help? My 3d modell is from paint 3d, i had convert it to dae, using a browser app, but it load the parts very intrestingly and without texture. sizes and placement were wrong.
So I tried with .fbx which u can make with paint3d. and it loaded just fine. texture everything in its place.
But when i save it, and look at AE, it shows no texture its all black, and it also appears in Premier, but also black.

Someone said i should try to save the c4d with assets, but it is missing some .png files which i cant find even in the project folder of paint3d.

So is it c4d, or AE im not sure im very beginner here. just want to play around with 3d objects i can easily create with paint3d in premier. :)
