Old widow lady here…Those stupid containers always mystified me. Thanks for this video. Now I know how to fill/empty them!

I had to watch that again. You're the bomb! Not a drop anywhere.

Thank you so much! My oil bottle has 2 caps/openings but I accidentally added too much to the side that measures. I was about to use a cup to drain when I saw your video.

Well done, I made a mess but kept it outside. Thank you.

Great - was wondering how to do this. I can now buy a big drum of the fuel additive I use and just use this technique to fill up the brettix bottle! Thanks

Those containers are handy, but my favorite way to measure out two-stroke oil is with a plastic 100mL graduated cylinder. That way you can use the really cheap quart or gallon jugs of oil. Just fill the cylinder up to 95 mL and you have exactly enough to make 1 gallon of 40:1. It even has a little pour spout to make getting it into the gas can easier. Just search for "graduated cylinder" on Amazon or eBay, I got mine for like $2.

The Super Tech 2 Stroke sold at Walmart today (2016) is blended by Citgo Petrolium, who also blends Echo Power Blend.

have you looked inside an engine after using that oil for awhile? i did that with mag 1 oil and thi piston was all scored thats why i dont like it. when i fill my bike i just pour oil into the top of one of those to measure it.

A lot of people run this cheap 2-cycle oil in their diesel tank to help save the fuel pump and injectors from wear, there was a study on a FPRR test (200:1). An engineer from Bob-is-the-Oil-Guy website said 600:1 is all you need for added lubrication.

When I was at walmart, this was the only small bottle on the shelf and I really did not want a gallon of this cheap 2-stroke oil. For my application, the small squeeze bottle is handy to measure 1 oz to add to my fuel conditioner, it just costs more in this type of bottle... Thanks for the video!
