This is how you can request a copy of my entire electronic claim file:

“I would like a copy of my entire claims file to include all service treatment records, personnel records, DD 214 and rating decision/s to include code sheet and any compensation and pension exam from the VA and any third-party contractors. The entire electronic claim folder on CD.”

Fax, Direct Upload and Mail to:

How I obtained a copy of my Summary/Breakdown letter.

I called the VA at 800-827-1000 and inform them that:

“I would like a summary letter/disability breakdown letter to include, all my service-connected conditions, percentages and diagnostic codes.” (If you are not service connected, you will not have one). Also, you can have them email or fax (if you don’t have a fax at home, you can download a fax app in the play store on your phone) this information, if the person doesn’t want to email or fax it, hang up and call back and speak to someone else.

Currently preparing for my C&P after never reporting anything in service. Thank you for your guidance and hopefully I can report back with a positive outcome

When my back was going through the C&P exam, the examiner asked about nerve pain and symptoms and added radicalopothy as a secondary that visit.
Nice surprise

Dewayne, you are on point with your videos and teaching. I did EXACTLY what you said and went from 90% to 100% T&P on just secondary claims. No Nexus but on solid medical evidence. 2 knee replacements led to service connection secondary DDD lower Extremity and Radiculopathy both legs and
feet. Plus Secondary Service connection of Planter Facit

Thanks, Dewayne. I’m going to set up my first primary visit consultation at my local VA clinic right outside of Philadelphia. Our main VA hospital is down in southwest Philly right by the University of Pennsylvania and it’s affiliated major hospital, HUP.

I have so many issues that were secondary to what VA has me rated at. They don't like to tell you anything that is secondary to my main diagnosis. I recently applied for secondary conditions and wish I could have claimed more because I have a lot more verifiable secondary conditions but for a non-medical person I have to figure them out for myself.

Great information! I help vets from here in the Philippines. Since we have the ONLY VA outside the USA in Manila, our doctors issue Nexus/DBQs for $300. Much better than the USA prices. And we are winning with these Docs everyday. So many forgotten soldiers living abroad. So few people to help them.
