Looks Delish and filling😋. You’ve gotta try chopped scallions to taste (green onions), just enough wine vinegar to marinate, touch of lemon juice, & sprinkke of pepper! Let marinate
an hour. If too wet, Pour off extra vinegar.
I don’t even use mayo, but you can. So good.

Jacob, a friend of mine (fisherman) in OOB (fishing based from the Saco river) used to pull one claw and then hang bags of them in a Hannafords plastic bag (when you still had them) on my door knob when I’d get home from BIW from 3rd shift I would have them waiting for me on my entry around 8am in the morning. What a great friend. I love crab rolls with toasted split hot dog rolls and a slice of lettuce 🥬 in there.
Side note, it was known by my local friends and relatives if your neighbor of an advanced age would pick and prepare crabmeat for your family and present it as a gift, she or they really really liked you. No doubt about it.
I live in Georgia now and come back once a year at least if I can, but I live vicariously through your videos and I am so grateful that you serve to show Mainers for what they really are, honest, hard working, loyal, caring about nature and not just themselves. Please don’t stop. Love lobsters 🦞 never will stop loving them. I must confess if you haven’t figured it out, I will pay big money to buy picked Jonah crab 🦀 and think they are about as good as any food Mother Nature provides. They just aren’t easy to provide in large scale, making a living on them very hard to survive on as a primary source of income.
God love those who pick crab 🦀 and those who fish like yourself. Praying everyday for Maine and her good fortune. My midcoast drawl won’t come through here. Just remember it’s a Nor’easter on the weather on the big three, but Mainers actually say No’th eastah where I came from! I’ve never ever been down the road, Ive only been up the street. Yes there are no “door yards” in Atlanta, but, don’t let anyone fool you, there are great people doing great things in the front of their houses and in their backyards here too. I have no shortage of love from my neighbors who never cease to be amused by my once living in Maine stories. If you ever want to come to Atlanta to take time off think about it. It’s really warm here in the winter even!

I love crab rolls. Well, to be honest, I love all things crab & lobster. You can't get fresher crab than you got!
A rather labor intensive job but with a few friends it goes pretty fast & can be fun too.

I would love to see a video on the economics of lobster fishing. How much does it cost to get gas and run a boat? How much do you get on average for a load of lobsters or a prayer box of lobsters? Did the guys on the boat get paid a wage or do they get a share of the catch? Do you always drop your line in about the same place or do you move your lines around?
