Honestly, I do the first 4 things when I’m trying to befriend someone, not date them. I want them to know I value them and their time, and enjoy being around them. General kindness and courtesy of someone else’s feelings, even if it’s more than usual, doesn’t automatically mean that you want to date that person. I’ve noticed that there’s kinda a theme with these “Do they like you?” videos, normally most of it is really just friendly behavior, while a tiny bit are actual signs.

Some people just have different ways of making friends or just interacting, ask someone if they like you that way instead of guessing if it’s bothering you.

-I’ve also noticed that sometimes aro/ace people are more friendly than others and are often misunderstood. Just ask!

One time someone confessed to me. I´m about 90% sure they just mistook my kindness for me liking them. My friends rushed me out of the situation seeing that it was awkward for me. I told him I would talk to him later and that I had to go. A few days later I caught up with him and told him I thought he was a great person, but the feeling wasn't mutual.
