I’ve been in love with my very good friend for 5 years. Everyone around me says that it’s so obvious he likes me back but one day he’s really sweet and the next day he’s rather cold and distant just like it was said in the video. 3 years ago we had a conversation with hints on the “dating” topic but he said he didn’t want to be in a relationship. I respected it and didn’t try anything and waited but it’s really hard for me when he’s constantly giving me those mixed signals. I’m scared that if I try something, it would only scare him away and I would lose a great friend. I even tried to “fall out” of love but it’s hard when we are together almost every day. I would like to be in a relationship but I can’t focus on anyone else than him. I’m pretty sure at this point that we won’t ever be together but I can’t make myself to let go of the little hope that maybe some day we will become a couple and it really sucks.
