I know it's years after the fact but I just want to say that I don't mind Link's beard. He really can pull it off. And the people who complained about it when this episode first aired are most likely the same people who complained about the opening title sequence whenever it changed and will continue to ignorantly complain about any minor changes in the future. People are allowed to choose their own look. Don't think you're doing him a favor by complaining about the change.
