As a second year business student I can confirm most of these. It’s really sad how little progress our educational system makes, especially when it comes to financial education. I had to educate myself how to save, invest and manage my money well overall.

I have a business...I'm literally coming back from a 3-day Million Dollar Weekend as I watch this. We covered every single one of these points this weekend.

I never went to business school, and my degree is in biology.

“BIG” As a graduate 🎓 of a well known Business School, I feel that it gives U the basic tools 🛠 & lingo, at the end of the day U have to be hungry to go out & make a difference for yourself. Relationships are everything for the most part. If U really like what U do, the money will follow, but 💰 money alone will never make U happy..🤷🏼

I’m a young real estate investor with 3 properties in Greece and graduate Fashion Designer . Unfortunately I had to come to terms with the fact that Fashion is not going to put money in my pocket right away so I focused on making money. NO ONE taught me anything but you guys and other investing videos and YouTube “tutors” about money and how to manage and develop my wealth. I had to develop my own way of thinking on how to improve my real estate investing based on what I watched here because no one knows how to “teach” me anything and that is so sad but motivating at the same time!

Most business school don’t teach about how to face/handle failures in life. Just because someone did masters/bachelors degree doesn’t mean that he would be successful with the business. It doesn’t takes place overnight. It’s about trying out new ways / implementing ideas through trial and error.

What makes an Entrepreneur successful is the fact that they ‘ DONT GIVE UP’...it’s their perseverance that makes them different from the rest...so in this competitive world it’s imperative to understand the fact that success start with failures. It’s a learning process which requires your patience, perseverance and hard work..all of which is not taught in business school rather they are more focussed on creating future employees of some random companies...

I don’t like it when people say: “They don’t teach you X in school”.

Some things in life are not meant to be taught in school but should be experienced through making mistakes and learning through others.

The kind of people, who complains about not being taught something in school, don’t have what it takes to succeed because they need some “default system” to tell them what to do.

Answer this question honestly: do you really trust someone, who ISN’T financially responsible or free and might be earning just over the minimum wage standard, to be lecturing you on how to grow your money and how to be rich? I don’t think so

*I talk to a lot of people who graduated with a degree in business or are about to, and a uncomfortably significant percentage of them don't know a lot of things that you'd think they would*

I still didn’t get to see a business school with my own eyes, yet I can tell you I strongly agree with this. I agree that most schools (not just business schools) literally lack in topics that really matter for our evolution as human beings. For now, we should still learn those things ourselves, but we should also stand for greater, transformative education on money and business that is easily accessible for the next generations. BIG!

As a business management graduate, some of these were taught to us. Thanks ALUX for inspiring me and improving my knowledge about business. ❤

BIG. I got my MBA at a business school. How to generate and develop new clients and a network are the key items that was missing from my program.

BIG! I work with the public and remember names and faces really well. This is HUGE. People love to be remembered! I up-sell really well, too. I teach my shy employees how to engage and build a rapport with customers. It’s the difference between a dollar tip and a ten dollar tip. I’ve taught our employees about the importance of 401Ks and how to build credit the right way. Some of these kids didn’t even know how to use a broom when they first started with us! I own a sandwich/craft beer shop and the employees range from 17-21yo. Great, great kids! They are the reason for our consistent success!

If your aim is employment, it's better to get a managerial course that teaches management or any course that teaches skill than business school. Entrepreneurs doesn't need diploma or certificates. Entrepreneurs all go for results.
