The first time I heard this soundtrack (in the movie) I thought the screaming noises were actual people. Now I know that they were violins. I still think that is the coolest thing in the song and a creative use for an instrument.

I was listening to the finding memo soundtrack while vacuuming my house, the positive and pretty tunes from a beloved childhood classic gave mea nice calm mood. Then this song came on and I got legit scared and had to keep turning around to make sure no one was going to kill me

the way the music just captures the mood of terror and the trauma Nemo is feeling in this scene is just absolutely amazing, Thomas Newman is such a genius

I like that, even though this sounds like it would fit in nicely with 2017's _IT, _ once you're older you realise that the diver isn't evil. He couldn't have known Nemo and Marlin were sentient.

0:45 the sound that sounds like kids screaming in the background was originally used in a deleted scene where the movie was told in flash backs, and we see the prologue at whole different perspective, as the barracuda is digging into the eggs, , this sound represents the kids screaming.

Honestly Finding Nemo still kinda spooks as an adult. I won’t get nightmares from it or be so scared to the point where I don’t want to watch the movie but there a some scenes that sends a shiver down my spine. The barracuda, Bruce’s introduction and his brief relapse, some of the scenes with Darla, the anglerfish, the trench, the part where Nemo swims to the boat and gets taken, and the part where Marlin goes back for Dory.

The same thing goes for the some of the soundtrack. The divers, barracuda, Bruce’s introduction, the beginning part of Gill’s theme. Hell they just straight up use the Psycho shower killing music for Darla
