To put this into perspective, over 300, 000 people died in the Haiti earthquake, compared to 4000 in Nepal. This is sad.

I wonder why the idols that they worship didn't save them, or save itself!!! The sad about is that they gonna build it again and keep worshiping it.

This is so sad, I visited them last year and I cannot believe that those temples are just rubble. And so many lost lives, very sad.

I guess could be worse for the homeless people sleeping on the streets? Could be worse for those that lost their lives? Or their loved ones? Have some respect. There were monuments that were destroyed including buildings, I hope ur family doesn't go through the same fate

16 Helicopters from India has been hovering around taking footage of the devastation in the name of rescue. They have been occupying the Airport making it difficult for the other rescue team.

As someone born in Nepal, and as a routine visitor, I can affirm the country is a third world country albeit not as bad as Haiti, but not much better either. Either way, it's terrible when something no one can control ends up destroying people's lives, especially when the people already have so much grief as it is.
