so after 110k miles you car still has 88% life left, did you also lose 12% performance? i have a 2019 with 22k miles dual motor model 3, estimated epa range of 310 miles, when i fully charge my tesla when im going on a trip it shows 308 miles here in my hot weather of texas my batteries are lasting quite a long time

hows the range anxiety with Teslas nowadays? Been definitely considering a Tesla for my next car at some point haha

most likely way off, those cars lie to you about remaining range, no real way to calculate off what it tells YOU, they could do it but with the numbers it give you being so far off you have no way to really know

that maths you used is just not correct at all, for starters you used range loss as a capacity loss (so firstly range is a predictive algorithm based on your driving style), but also the batteries don't actually lose capacity it just appears they do they lose voltage levels per cell, so at best case all your cells are about 20% degraded the problem is degradation of the cells is not linier it's exponential and at 80% is the start of major degradation it wont last more than 3 years before you have to replace the battery.

Dumb video 😂 batteries degrade faster after a certain period it won’t be oh I’ll get another 100k miles it will crap out fast

Probably closer to 60%.
But, 110, 000 miles, did the car pay for itself. Or is CHARGING expensive & inconvenient.

Very bad because after 10 years my gas card still has the same range as when I bought it. Which means it runs much more efficiently than a battery car since there is no loss of range or segregation after refiling thousands of times. There is also less environmental impact as I don't need to throw away a battery that's now depleted on an EV.
