Wrong title, wrong captions. He is NOT saying "It sounds out!", he's saying "TURN IT DOWN." He says it again at 1:22: "Turn it down!!". The guitar isn't out of tune. It's too loud in his in-ear monitor.

Doesn’t sound out to me, not the best audio quality to say for sure, but as a guitar player myself I’m pretty sure it’s not out of tune. You could see his tech just checked it before he gave it to James. I think he says turn it down. My bet is his in ear monitors is too loud. Different guitar, higher output maybe!?

Read the comments, sounds like a lot of people disagree and that he is saying it’s too loud turn it down. Not that it’s out of tune. Honestly the audio isn’t great and I’m not hearing anything obviously out of tune in the clips.

Guitar sounds fine. No one in charge of Hetfield's guitar is going to hand him an out of tune instrument. If they do, it will be the last time they hand him anything.
