so many things that say its ruby but the bigest things that hit me right away are the color are color and how dull it looks now the dullness ant something much but it shows something you would not get with a diamond. and as far as looking at how it reacts to the tester shows me its ruby and more them likely glass filled or synthetic. if it was a diamond it never would have kept climeing in rang it would have shot to the max it was right away not got to one point them climed took more time climed a little more.

i think you set the selector too low
there is some table how to set your selector regarding the room temperature and also the size of the gems
look at your manual book, it should there

Tester is too low should be set at either 3 or 4 but still it will just read 9+ faster

selector 2 if you turn on the entire row of lights does not prove that it is diamond. because it lights up in quartz and amethyst too. hug.g

First check u r room temperature then set tester according to it then u can get similar or correct results
