Thermal vision is badass. You spend some decent money on a thermal scope. You can see the warm footprints from someone who walked by.

Issues:
Nods resolution and focus can make seeing harder
The monotone colors of nods means everything’s perfectly camouflaged

However it’s still way better than neither
Thermal is cool but having both has its benefits, however this kind of fusion is very pricy to do

Nods don't suck as much as this would make you believe. Him standing up is what made the biggest difference between the two clips. I've used pvs 14s and 31s and most of their limitations are due to range of vision and needing ambiant light. Obviously they won't see through concealment, they just make the world brighter. If they're properly focused you'd see an arm or leg sticking out

Thermal NVGs are gonna be so bad ass in the future. Will you even need your IR flood light anymore? I’m thinking just the laser and you’re good

There are mitigations such as blasting IR light especially in an indoor space.
