Five Minute Fix 27 - PCV Replacement 1995 Mazda Miata MX-5 NA

Welcome! In this video I replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve on my 1995 Mazda Miata. The old one crumbled into dust in my hands so it was time for a new one. This valve is important for emissions control and for keeping the engine vacuum leak free. For this Miata you may need to adjust the idle screw after installing if the old PCV was not working correctly. I do cover this in other videos in my Miata playlist.

I'm jealous that yours went in so easily. My friend and I had to replace ours and we had to use more force than plastic should handle. We did get it in though, thank you for the video!
