Experiment shows the size of water's surface tension. Although the glass is filled to the top with water, it is possible to drop quite a few more coins in without spilling the water. This is physics experiment for science project.

Fizikalni poskus prikazuje lastnosti površinske napetosti vode. Ko kozarec napolnimo z vodo do roba, lahko vanj še vedno spustimo ogromno malih kovancev. Gladina vode se dvigne nad rob kozarca zaradi površinske napetosti.

The positiv charged hydrogen atoms of the water molecules form hydrogen bonds with the negatively charged oxygen atoms of other water molecules to create surface tension :)
