How to create offline media using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)

Learn how to use Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) to create an offline iso file of your deployment share so that you can deploy custom images using your existing task sequences to workstations without them needing to connect to your Windows Deployment Server or MDT Deployment Share. In this example, I show you how to create a selection profile to reduce the number of operating systems, applications, and drivers that get included in the iso file so the file size is as small as possible, as well as how to create the custom offline media iso file.

Straight forward, no fluff, all useful. I had to backup a few times, but that's a good thing. NOT a waste of time, cheers m8!!!

So when i make my deployment like this and burn it to a flash drive (Overall size ~60GB); it boots and all but doesn't see any of the hard disks (Diskpart only sees the flash drive).

My offline media does not include the Windows OS Image. I tried to setup an MDT environment with Win 11, I imported the original ISO file from the MS page but the Lite Touch Win PE image does not include Windows, it is too small for that (roughly 500MB). I setup a selection profile where I ticked the mark OS. Any ideas? Thx in advance
Booting WinPE it says OS missing after selecting the task sequence
Apart from this, great video!

I burned Onffile Media Install to a USB but acctually it need connect to Depployment server to get all things. Show I can not see where is the offline. The word "Offline", I think mean no need to boot to PXE server.( Should Remove line). Just burn ISO file to USB then USB can do all things then.

When I tried to do this using a USB stick, it would just instantly open up the command prompt and do nothing. Any thoughts?

Side note, the location of the media cannot be inside of the DeploymentShare folder. It will let you pick it but then get a bunch of errors when you try to update the media. Another Microsoft Fail.
