this definitely works but if you could help me with figuring out why i have no play back on any clips i drag from photos album i'd appreciate it. i was gonna buy final cut pro but if i can't even get video play back in davinci, i really wouldn't want to waste $300 to find out the same issue. i havea 24' 14inch macbook pro if that information is needed, thanks

so im pretty sure im out of luck but if i copied the file to a harddrive and deleted the original, i assume ill have to start over the editing right?

if you know where the files is -> Right click on the missing file -> press: Relink prroxy media
