The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Arizona's Republican-backed voting rights case, deciding neither of provisions of the state's voting law violates the section of the federal Voting Rights Act that deals with race. Ilya Shapiro, vice president of the CATO Institute and director of the Robert Levy Center for Constitutional Studies, joins CBSN for more on the ruling.

1 authenticated vote per person. It's not difficult and it's not racial.

If ID's aren't needed for voting, I shouldn't have to show it for cold medicine, alcohol, cigarettes or to get into a federal/ state building.

I appreciate CBS not editorializing the headline. Sad that it's come to a point where that needs to be addressed.

A small glimmer of hope for genuine voter reform.

In Germany we alwyas need our ID card (and can travel with it from Poland to Portugal, from Sweden to Italy without a passport). BUT our ID card costs abou $25 and we need less 10 miles to the bureau where we get it. We have to register after we have moved and automatically get a card to vote directly or via mail.

I like how he corrected her when she she asked how this will effect other states that have instituted "restrictive " voting laws say they're "not restrictive" and that its easier to vote in these states then it was 10 years ago. So why are the Democrats fighting these laws so hard. 🤔 It's apparent.

How will these "restrictive voting laws" she speaks of affect the dead people that vote in huge numbers in my state? Will this disenfranchise them?

The "good for ALL" voting amendments here in the Great State of Arizona WILL STAND !!!!. This is great for Patriots across the country, including the current GA. State law suites. Hold the line Patriots.

She's grasping at straws. How can voting on Sunday be a traditional thing in certain cultures when it never happened until recently? The same is true with early voting. Anything that makes voting easier, also makes it vulnerable to abuse. If you ask me early voting is for uninformed people who think they know everything they need to know about a candidate. Millions of people out there have buyer's remorse with the drooling fool in the White House.
