Jaime becomes increasingly likable as the story progresses, and Cersei far more loathsome.

I really appreciate that she said Cersei learned a lot since she was away from Jamie, because really, those two have never spent a moment a part in their entire lives. They have always had and leaned on each other.

I really loved when you see Jaime examining his new hand, looks at Cercei and the other guy and just waves like "HAI"

Everyone who says Cersei is a one-dimensional purely evil character has absolutely no clue and terrible judgement tbh.

But it's interesting to see how they deal with the changed dynamics due to Jaime's early arrival...

I think at this point Jamie finally realises what's surrounds him and the Lannisters and how twisted they all are to an extent.

There is no rationalizing Cersei in this case. She's selfish, delusional and often drunk at this point of the story.

Cersei is not crazy at this point but she does descend into madness, eventually. She watches her son die in front of her and can't do anything to stop it. Don't judge her for it. Catelyn Stark also goes crazy after watching Robb die in front of her.
