Arya's body language, rubbing the pommel of her sword while sharing her story and listening intently to Brienne's story. Her face shows happiness in seeing an example of what her life choices would end up being, namely ending up in being Brienne. She looked up to only for a moment.
Love it; nice little addition. Good directing (if an improv by Maisie, then genius).

The bonding between Arya and Brienne over tomboys and naming their swords was so good. The first time Arya genuinely smiled since season 1. I wonder if she would be better off going with Brienne. She could be a very great warrior under Brienne. But why be a warrior when you can be a badass assassin?

if only they all thought for a second they could realise that they could instead all team up and travel together instead of fighting over who arya would be going with. if they wanted the best for her then that would obviously be it.

In another place, another time... they would have gotten along really well. You could already see the admiration creeping into Arya's face before The Hound enters the frame.

As a book reader, I still think this was a great scene. Just goes to show that it's not changes that bother me but whether it makes the story better or worse. Tysha and Coldhands are changes which needn't have been made, show watchers could still appreciate the added complexity, they're not stupid

Why didn't Brienne mention anything about finding Sansa Stark or show Arya the wolf bread??

This scene was very important to me, and even though it didn't end friendly, I'm sure it would have had a huge impact on Arya. I think it was really cool to have this meeting that wasn't in the books.

It's depressing knowing there's nothing I can do to quench my weekly (or daily) Game of Thrones craving but watch reruns and scour YouTube for any possible behind-the-scenes footage or interviews I might not have seen before until Season 5 comes

Brienne just saw her reflection in arya for some moments, before she knew that the girl is Aarya. 😍

loved this scene so much. arya and brienne were two of the most badass characters in got. and i love how arya was suspicious of brienne at first, but as she shares her story all that fades away and she realizes that she can relate to brienne. amazing acting by maisie

Personally, I kinda wish that Arya and Brienne had met earlier on in the series(boths in the show and the books, though I know in the books they haven't met at all). I think Arya would have saw Brienne as someone to idolise really.
