Focus on what is most important- your ability to pass an IFT with great numbers, your ability to handle intense volume and stress, and not quitting. That's what you should focus on, primarily, as you prepare for Special Warfare Assessment and Selection.

Exactly. As long as you aren't the weak link on the team when yall are under some boats or rucks, lifts aren't gonna benefit as much as you'd think.

I remember hitting the weights with our group of 8 of us coming to our selection from basic together, and I felt very behind. There were a few guys who put up almost twice most of my lifts, total units. I'm a cardio guy, so it was a bad look 😂

When we started training, that all became irrelevant. It was grit, being a good dude when your stressed and tired, and not holding back your team when it counts. We graduated 3 out of 8.
