"Avoid using the wrong shampoo"
proceeds to display my exact shampoo. :(

I confess, I'm a female that loves your channel! Most of the woman-driven oily scalp videos are like use dry shampoo and hide it under a hat. That's not really great, lol. I have suffered (and I don't use that word lightly) with super sensitive, painful acne and oily scalp since middle school. And I'm 41. I "fix" one problem and the other gets worse. The struggle is real!

This was really helpful. My hair is pretty much like your type. So after day three, I look like my hair has been in a fight with a stick of half-melted butter.

Nioxin recommend using the shampoo on a daily basis.
Is that a problem?

Trav, another Great Video! Since switching up, to just using a Conditioner Wash, twice a week, it's bought my Curl back! I do use Neutrogena, Clarifying Shampoo, once every 2 months, and so far, GREAT! Still Curly! Best wishes to the Gents, with Oily Hair! *So glad you're keeping the Humor! 😂🤣😂*

You may be right with that bonus tip. Ever since I started caring about my hair (used to rock a super short military style haircut back in my teens) I tend to run my hand through the hair and it might be the case. Thanks, nobody ever mentioned this

Great video. Liked and subscribed.
What's your opinion on using acidic shampoo if one has oily scalp genetics?

this is by far the best video I have come across on youtube to explain how to fix my greasy hair! During lockdown I would wash my hair every 3-4 days for four months, and this November-present I have been able to wash my hair every 2-3 days again, BUT with both experiences at different time periods I would always, always get an oily scalp by day 2!!! My hair is oily on the scalp but the rest of my hair is dry. Maybe it is the shampoos I have used, not sure, but there is no doubt I do suffer from an oily scalp no matter how much time I train my hair. Another issue I have started to notice is I lose more hair the less I wash my hair, and the more I would wash my hair the less I would lose hair.
