Scott is confident in sharing his secret because he knows most people would give up in just a few steps. Lots of work and dedication needed here.

Black kids who grow up with their fathers achieve so much more. I hope the era of single mothers drops to low percents. Ppl have no idea how important it is to grow up in a healthy household.

All the kids and people who don’t even cook talking about “too much salt” have no idea the portions he’s cooking and how the sodium reverse osmosis into the meat and the excess salt drips away. That’s the proper way to season HOG. Humans have been salting pork since we have been farming them.

Me an my wife drove 400miles for that barbecue, it was worth it, Excellent if you like vinegar based sauce, this guy knows his hog.

When I searched “whole hog bbq” Rodney Scott was featured in almost every other video so I’m pretty sure he’s THE MAN when it comes to cooking whole hogs.

I see people saying too much salt but it's a whole hog. I'd LOVE to see you use a pinch of salt on a whole hog and it be good.

I don't eat beef or pork but, something about the love and tradition of barbecue is really soothing.

I road up on this place this Easter weekend, there was a block party going on with some jams...kinda had to park down the road a bit ....we tried the fried pork skins, the pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad...every thing was amazing...the dipping sauce was his peppery mop sauce, got a bite to it ...well worth the 3 hour drive ....true bbq ...love this place ..!!

Half hog for $250. That's a great deal for how much work that goes into this IMO. My mouth was celebrating through the entire video.

Made my way from Minnesota to Scotts at the beginning of the month here. Went to 5 different bbq joints and 3 that do whole hog and by far Scotts was the best!! Good enough I bought a gallon of sauce to bring home.

If you live semi close enough make the trip I suggest you go!

To all you people saying comments about the salt, if you looked that's a lot of meat, second if you have a problem with the way he cooks his food, why did you click on the video? He's clearly doing better then half you fuckers who have no life but to click on videos to put people down. Good job man! Keep it up! 😊😊
