4:25 Munch and his mind is what won me over in this episode. Dude completely cracked the case by such a minor observation. One of the best detectives hands down

So...they unintentionally caught a serial killer while investing a young womans murder? 😅 And then caught the actual killer, her crappy boyfriend.

This show pisses me off the way the Detectives make tasteless jokes constantly but the moment an officer in a uniform or a rookie does it they will snap rudely at them for it.

seeing Lennie made me so happy.

Rest In Power, Jerry Orbach.

That "Nice shoes..." bit is some fine acting! Chris takes his time with the smirk coming over his face, and the perfect inflection on the words, with the little eyebrow raise, is just chef's kiss delicious!
They got more and more into action as the series progressed, but in these early episodes, there are some excellently choreographed and well-acted moments...

This is one of the best early episodes. Everybody has a moment, everybody works towards both ultimate solutions.

The episodes where Munch and Finn team up are some of my favourites.

"I know my best friend's number by heart"
Most of us did back in 1999, but nowadays in 2024, how many people know their best friend's number by heart? I don't, but I do have a contact list in my phone.

25 years and things change.

Stabler channeling his inner Keller with that smirk at the end. Guess the dude looked too much like Beecher.

I feel like Stabler could have easily handled that death notice in a better manner.

3:31 this actress has been in this show so many times in so many different roles I’m convinced cloning exists in the L&O universe. Hell at one point she shared a scene with Zoe Sladana and then years later she played Peter Parker’s teacher in Spider-Man Homecoming
