The fact that he actually was seconds to leaving & possibly living out his life is crazy

I love how the narrator says the guy is “relaxed and confident” when they were just joking around.. then after the cop says “you’ve been hiding something all this time” the narrator says “notice how his demeanor has changed to anxious and attentive” … yeah I would be freeking out too even if I was completely innocent lol

imagine how horrifying it would be to be a 9 year old, not knowing where your mum is, not being able to talk to her for weeks, and the only parental figure around is giving you different stories about where she is.

Dude got away with murder plain and simple. 10 years after living 30 of them free as a bird. That’s the ultimate slap on the wrist.

You just don't expect this type of behavior from guys you meet at criminal dating events.

For anyone wanting quick explanation that one word was “spurting” when he was talking about when he found her dead. (You spurt blood if your heart is still pumping thus she wasn’t dead yet he didn’t call 911 or help her)

I appreciate how short your videos are. I don't want to sit here for 45 minutes listening to interrogations.

The pure evil smile on his face at the end...there's more to the story that we'll never find out..RIP Evelyn.

Ten freaking years for murder? Some drug charges get more than that. Our justice system is screwed up.

That is absolutely insane that there was a statute of limitations on MURDER

Dude was lying and never stopped lying. He practically got away with it. Was interesting to watch. Great video

According to the victim's niece, she was a sweet person and Merl died three years ago while in jail due to Covid. He never saw another day outside bars. I live in Hernando and the case still posted with updates up to 3 years ago, when he passed. They never found her body. If true what he said, alligators could have a hold of her.Evil man!

Before watching this, I was really wondering how you could inadvertently admit to murdering someone. It took me a few seconds to occur to me that a dead person's blood would not be spurting out.

A statute of limitations on second degree murder? That is ridiculous.

Just so everyone knows, on 23rd July 2020, Mearl passed away in Prison. He will face the remainder of his sentence in hell...

This is why you always lawyer up when they start digging into the real questions and telling you “we have this and we have that” then lawyer up and get them to show what they got.

It's so crazy to me that he was in and out of jail and she as a MOTHER was like.. YEP THAT IS THE ONE FOR US!

How did they let him get away with her disappearance in the first place? All the various lies, draining her bank account, did they just close the case ?
