My heart aches for these people and my curiosity is killing me wanting to know what it looks like upstream of Chimney Rock Village at 0:49 on the video, where the river has moved over and taken the road. I have done a lot of searching for videos showing the river from Lake Lure up to Bat Cave with no results. This area holds fond memories for me.

The Federal government needs to use that money going overseas as we have our own war zone in western NC.

It will seem like it takes forever and the impatience will turn to anger but gradually the light appears on the horizon and a new day will come. Don’t wallow in media morass. Their story is not the story you will write.
