My little sister is in Ashville NC. She is safe and has supplies. Her neighbor is still missing. She's feeding animals, helping clear roads and everything she can to help. Everyone is chipping in her community. Im am so grateful to God she is safe. Its going to take a long time to rebuild.

If not for the huge hearts of Tennesseans, our family would be lost. We lost our mobile home but the 4 of us (and our 5 cats) are being sheltered at the First Baptist church in Roan Mountain and the people here are angels. Supplies from floor to ceiling, preparing meals for the community, sending in therapy dogs, putting together care packages for distribution. We are Vermonters relocated to TN 4 years ago, so homeless again, but am amazed by the generosity and hard work of the community members. Absolute heroes in my mind!😊
