One of the best speeches about self-confidence. Thanks a lot to the speaker for her terrific work!

It is unfortunate that the TED organization put the above disclaimer note since the content of this talk was vetted and endorsed by highly respected neurologists, medical research experts, and PhD-credentialed experts at MIT, Harvard, Wharton, Yale, UC Berkeley, the Olympic training center, and many others. There are over 200 referenced research studies in my book and I am happy to provide the evidence of the data and expert support to anyone that is interested.

I’m surprised at number of likes versus the quality of content. It matters to rate things so that next person is able to choose better from a sea of content. This is ver engaging, presented well and to the point....

I’m beginning to think Tedx disclaimers are only for strong powerful women who give good advice 🧐❤️

I, has the individual typing this comment, can verify that the main concept of this Talk is accurate within a minimal margin of error.

Although she doesnt talk about the damage/dangers of over confidence, especially within those who gain artifical confidence from hiding behind a keyboard...

I'm sorry, I had to.

Age 16? You mean age 6? Kids these days lose confidence way sooner, miss.

This is a *really * tough croud. Nobody is laughing at her jokes.

Or is her speech not up to standard?

This was NOT good. Talked around and past the subject. You're left wondering: where's the beef? It should really have taken 20 seconds to say: "if you want to be confident, boost somebody else's confidence." The presenter doesn't give any evidence to support this trite claim. Could have got it from a Hallmark card.
A presentation on confidence deserves much better than this kind of goofy TED waffle. It would be good if the presenter redid this presentation in a way that gives actionable steps - based in scientific findings - for viewers to work on. That would show real confidence.
