This is ridiculous. Don't ever change yourself or your interests in order to find love. If you're not into nerdy stuff, then be open about it. If it was destined to work out then it will.

when she said her ex's name it was really obvious she said "Steven"

This is wrong on many levels. Be yourself and don't fake something to get a guy to like you. It annoys me when I see girls fake being nerdy to get nerdy guys to like them.

So this is what you're teaching girls ... I get stereotypes and making videos like this for fun... but really .... rethink this

Back in my day nerds were well read and intelligent. This whole "pop culture" thing is so weird.

I’m currently talking to a nerd. He teaches me lots of things I don’t know things about and it’s like wow. He’s sweet as well. He accepts me for who I am but if I sense him starting to trying to change me I will walk away. Just wasn’t brought up as a nerd. Nothings wrong with being a nerd at all it’s just that I’m not gonna pretend to be something I’m not.

This honestly depends on the kind of nerd. I mean, weird texts and emojis don't always appeal to nerds... And there are so many kinds of nerds, it's not just about comics, video games and tv shows. You have book nerds, anime nerds, science nerds, math nerds, film nerds, music nerds, ...
Honestly, just be nice and polite, introduce yourself, and just talk to them like you would to any other person.

. . . Really?
As a nerd myself, and engaged to a nerd, I am extremely offended.
My fiancé and I are nerds about TOTALLY different things, but I was literally just myself around him . . . I love Sherlock and Attack on Titan, he'd rather watch Sons of Anarchy or Hajime no Ippo, but I don't pretend to like that just because he's interested in it.
Popsugar, you need to rethink some things. Not all girls are airheads only interested in being with a guy to say they're with someone - some of us are actually awkward and have social anxiety that can't be fixed by getting with a guy. And furthermore, I'd go to Comic Con in a heartbeat, whether or not my fiancé went with me.

I love playing video games and I'm attractive to nerds. I always have a crush on the smarties nerd looking kid in my class. I could be loud and ghetto at times, so I sometimes intimidate nerds 😕

I'm a nerd...Some of this stuff is true and some of it isn't. For me though. Every nerd is different. Not all nerds like pizza and video games and watch the walking dead as much as possible or are extremely complicated and need many different types of therapy, watch anime 'til 3 in the morning, and discuss weird stuff with your other nerdy friends and etc (me). Some nerds do...uhh....different stuff. :) Don't try to be something you're not to try and attract a nerd. If you like 'em, you should be yourself and...go for it! I know that line is a cliché right about now, but it does hold some truth.

Thanks for the tips!, I’m gonna take this advice for granted I’m a nerd who’s never been in a relationship. I tried dating at my schools but couldn’t meet any nerdy girls. I hope to one day find someone who’s a nerd like me.

As a whovian, I find it incredibly offensive when a person pretends to know what they are talking about but they've never even watched the show. I think this video is promoting pretending to be someone that you aren't and it just really annoyed me ok? Sorry😁

As a nerdy and geeky guy I can confirm this is really accurate

I'm a nerd and did not take offense to this video at all. What's with people being so emotionally fragile these days? Grow up, people!

Nerds are persons, did you knew that?
I have dated no nerd girls (I am a nerd), and it ended up being really fun.
You din´t have to like the same things that the other person likes, if you find a common interest point, great, if you don´t, you can still date someone.
Also not every nerd likes game of thrones, or the walking dead, or doctor who, or pizza.
If any girl is seeing this, if you like a nerd, date him as a person, not as a nerd, he is just that, a person who happens to be a nerd.

I don't think this is good enough. I've been dating a nerdy guy... I'm pretty sure he likes me not being a nerd like him, however, I've noticed his nerdy friends are the ones you should win to make him more comfortable.

As a huge nerd myself let me tell you something. We are ok if you don't get the same thing we do. But if you fake to be a fan of something just to catch our interest trust me you will get caught fast. Cause we are too passionate about our stuff that you faking to love it hurts us more than you not knowing what the hell those catchphrases are. Just be yourself. FYI, Nerdy guys falling for nerdy girls is like a 11% scenario. So yeah, you guys have 89% more chance winning them by being yourself. Don't ruin it by listening to stupid things like this.
