Out of all of the archetypes in the game, I think the heroes have the most amount of fusion monsters out of any of them, and with a large amount of fusions, some of them have to be better than other, so we'll go over worst ones in this video.

--The List--
10-Elemental HERO divine Neos
9- Elemental HERO dark Neos
8- Masked HERO Goka
7- Elemental HERO Mariner
6- Elemental HERO steam healer
5- Elemental HERO Chaos Neos
4- Elemental HERO neck related shaman
3- Elemental HERO rampart blaster
2- Elemental HERO mudballman
1- Elemental HERO inferno

You should've mentioned that the two times Jaden lost (to Zane, and then to Kaibaman), were also the 2 duels where he played Mudballman.

The best way to use Dark Neos’s effect is to target itself. So that it’s shuffle effect gets negated.

Then you have a normal E-hero Neos in edgy Cosplay. Have fun

Just a note, when I said some of these monsters are useful because they're instant fusion targets I meant as fodder (as in used for rank 5, synchros, links ect). I assumed this was obvious so didn't go into much detail except in the Mariner section.

you know the entries are gonna be bad when divine neos is the "best"

I think the reason the early Heroes had the “must be Fusion Summoned” requirement is because Metamorphosis wasn’t banned yet and they didn’t want players getting ideas.

I can picture it now: "I'll use Dark Neos's effect to negate his own effect, thus turning a 2500 Attack monster with a pretty lackluster effect that puts itself back into the deck at the end phase... into a 2500 Attack monster with no effect!"

>inb4 "If you negate the effect that allows negation, it falls off." I know. It's a dumb joke, but it would probably have flown in the GX anime.

my biggest beef is that they couldn't be summoned from the graveyard after all the fusion work they weren't even that broken that they needed that restriction

Well
At least with Dark Neos, I’m pretty sure it can negate its own effect. So it’s effect to return to the ED is negated and it can stay on the field. While this means you pretty much only have a 2500 atk beat stick that does nothing else, it’s the only Neos Contact Fusion to be able to stay on the field under its own power, which I guess makes up for it that tiny bit.

18:00 Used in the manga. This card never appeared in the anime. Judai (Jaden) had a different deck in the manga. Startos came from the manga, as well as some of the Masked Hero cards.

You have to remember that E-Heroes were around when there was no limit on the Fusion Deck so you can have one of each Fusion for situational circumstances.

I remember I traded my Secret Rare Elemental Hero Inferno to my brothers friend for the P4-02 red Dark Magician from Japan. Damn near robbed in broad daylight.

The term "Contact" wasn't invented by Konami. It was called Contact Fusion in GX.

Someone needs tell Duel Links that they messed up because I use Rampart Blaster because it can attack directly. Grandmerge takes something out and Rampart Blaster just protects my LP while picking away at what my opponent has left.

Inferno was in the manga, not the anime. Manga Jaden had an actual elemental/nature theme to his E-HERO deck. Inferno and Terra Firma were the only ones needing specific materials and the rest were the omni heroes. It was used to beat Alexis who used Ice Counters in the manga.

"I am here to save the day!"
"My hero-"
"Whoops. You're time's up. See ya..."
"..." *gets surrounded by people cracking their knuckles and laughing menacingly*

When you think about it, Necroid Shaman is actually more useful these days than it used to be, because you can use it to dig up hand traps. The most common ones all have nonexistent attack stats and do nothing if they're not in your hand (some are tuners, but that's about it) so you can just dredge them up and punch them for free damage.
Also it can use roid support because archetypes are silly

Konami even had the audacity to make a structure deck in Duel Links with E Hero Inferno as it's cover card hahahaha
