I’m just happy that fairy lily finally got her doctorate. Good for her.

Top ten cards that saved their archtype?

Frog the Jam must be such an overpowered card if it keeps being excluded from card effects.

I find it pretty amusing that the English version of "Monster Reborn Reborn" has the ankh from the censored version of the original card. It's like the localization team realized they couldn't take out the ankh without completely ruining the entire joke of the artwork and just decided to not censor that one.

Growing up, when Raigeki was still banned, we used Lightning Vortex a lot as discarding a card from the hand wasn't seen as a bad thing. If you played smartly, you could usually afford to lose a card.

simple errata to barrier dragon to fix the card: "once per turn, when this card is in attack position, negate the next attack and change this card's battle position". (may need some minor adjustments for problem solving text reasons, but the point still stands.)

Can we all appreciate the water effect at 4:10

Cyber barrier dragon feels like the effect was meant to protect another weak monster you control, while the high defense is something you can fall back on if you're going to lose it on your next turn. That being said, a mediocre and hard to summon stall monster has no business being a cyber dragon card. Shit be weird, yo.

I feel that Lightning Vortex shouldn't be on the list. The card was decent during the early days of YGO when floating and destruction immunity wasn't common. It's one of those cards that got powercrept to obsoletence.

cyber barrier dragon was made to use with cyber laser dragon as a "combo" so you can have a high atack beatstick that can destroy cards and be safe from 1 atack

One more: Cards that only became good years later. Like, cards that were useless when they came out, but became good due to changes in meta or game format 5 years (or even a decade) later.

While a Trap Card, you could say Raigeki Bottle is also a Raigeki retrain and a MUCH worse than Lightning Vortex. Also, as someone running almost only gimmick decks, I VERY often use Lightning Vortex over Raigeki because I'll be using it with card effects that activate when discarded (eg: The Fabled monsters) or that get stronger the fewer cards you have in hand, meaning I actually gain advantage (plus I play in older formats from 2012-2015 where Raigeki is banned because I fucking HATE how broken newer cards after that were, at most I'll play up to Spellbooks/Dragon Rulers).

Thank you! I've always found it strange that Injection FAIRY Lily is a spellcaster!

Lightning Vortex is so damn underrated even before when Dark Hole was unbanned for the first time the card was ignored by many, but not me, always used it.
