I meant to write you---AFTER a horribly extra nervous interview back in Aug--I watched one of your videos on how to approach an interview as a consultant....this calmed my nerves & helped me hone my interview skills. I decided I would treat this like a conversation & I GOT A DREAM JOB. THANK

You should put a video together for the recruiters about how to interact with a candidate. I have spoken with several who just want your information and then disappear. No follow ups, no returned emails nor phone calls. Even if a recruiter is busy, it is common courtesy. Job hunters are having a hard enough time right now.

Hi Linda, great video. I have basically very positive experience with headhunters. I live in Prague and the market is small. The advantage is that just a few headhunters cover the entire market.

What a nice way of saying, "If you don't hear back from the recruiter then it's your fault"

As per my opinion, it's recruiter have to learn how to talk to the prospects. Cuz Nowadays HR people become egoistic narcissistic. They won't even bother to greet you. Dont have any kind of people skills which is a core skills for HR. Thats my take home points. I've been through 15 interviews with small scale to large corporats. Everytime i get disappointed.

In LinkedIn, they don’t really message back. I’d reached out with several recruiters through LinkedIn and no response.
There’s a recruiter who I thought was very determined to help get me a job and/or even an interview. However, I haven’t heard from him and it’s been months. So what I’m trying to say it depends on the recruiter, I feel if they really are genuine people. They’ll do whatever takes.
That’s just my opinion, so far I’m not having much luck with them.

“ Know what you want” What if I’m genuinely interested in two different departments, and I firmly believe that I would be a good fit for two positions? 🧐
