I love these. From a balancing perspective I think that Russia should win every time.

Given the notorious spacing, here are some changes I’d make.
Swap Nubia for the Mali.
Swap Ethiopia for Congo or Zulu
Swap Greece for Scythia
Swap Gilgamesh for Persia
Swap Gaul for England

Also Kupe on deity can get problematic, in my game they settled Australia, japan, west coasts of both Americas and then the tip of India.
