Yup. A used base model can go for $100, sometimes lower.

I actually snatched 2 up from the Salvation Army thrift stores, 1 for almost $35, almost $40 for the other and while one of them does have a nonfictional power button but you can just sync it with a controller, problem solved. Either way, they both work and play games just fine.

PS4 is a good option to with if you can get them for a reasonable price and don’t want to invest in a PC where you need like $1, 000 or more for a decent one.

Right now is the best time to get a PS4 pro and PS4 games. I found a Glacier White Pro model(7200 series) for $175 in mint condition. I've also been collecting physical games both new and used for cheap prices, too. The slim is still a good console, but definitely install an SSD to help with load times and cooling. The launch model is okay, but the fan noise is so loud compared to the slim.

I have a PS4 slim. I put a ssd in it. It's amazing with it. Games run really smooth. Tons of games to choose from. I didn't buy a PS5 because it's not worth it now. I'm waiting till they release a slim model.

I have a ps5 but bought a ps4 because I forgot to transfer my savegaves from a backup and I played it for awhile...honestly the experience is the exct same, only with delayed load times but an ssd would solve that. The ps5 really isnt at all impressive, even after 3 years of being released. The gaming industry really did slow down.

man is it really gonna be 10yrs old for that console? it handle's better then series x and s games frame dropping lol. can't bilieve how good the ps4 was back then. ps5 will be legit
