You're really good at breaking things down. I feel I could have learned cycles on the first try if I'd watched some tutorials set up like this.

... so I lied. Two videos coming TOMORROW, not today. 3 videos a week, remember? ;-)

I've viewed practically all the tutorials on Blender and your videos by far are the best! Easiest to follow with excellent and short to the point explanations of the hows and whys. Finally I get this! Seriously, I was to the point of giving up. Thank you so much!!!!

Wow! I've watched countless video tutorials pertaining to Cycles, and nodes but have learned more from this one than all others combined, and then some! Thank you for the tremendous effort you have put forth to help others understand this not so easy to grasp workflow! Suddenly, now it is not that difficult at all.

One of the very few channels on YouTube where I'm happy to let adverts play all the way through :-)

I learned a lot about the platform from your videos not just how to follow along and copy. Thanks

I have avoided trying to learn cycles because it looks so complicated. You have made it look simple and not so scary. Thanks for the video.

@ 18:26 - Ahh Suzanne turned into a weird alien devil monkey! lol :D I have to agree. When I first saw Nodes, I was intimidated for sure, and avoided them. For a while I've realized that I made a huge mistake and recently decided it was long overdue to start learning Nodes & Cycles. Thanks a lot for the tutorial man, good job!

This was great! I love how you show the 2 different methods to access and work with nodes, this really helped me understand how the right bar area can be used. The hardest thing about learning Blender is how things can be dine different ways - the trick is finding the one that works best for you lol

Once again a great tutorial, A little simple. but it is 4 years old, it is a good basic introduction to nodes and materials.
