Quadratic, Cubic, Quartic Formula

There is the quadratic formula, but what about a cubic or quartic formula? Do they exist? What about a quintic or higher formula? It turns out there is no general 5th order (or higher) polynomial root formula.

I like how both your video and Mathologer's video, which deals with a similar subject matter, both reference being able to recite the quadratic formula if you were woken up in the middle of the night.

Hello, is it possible to deduce a formula of a sequence with a fourth difference using the quartic equation? (for example: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 31, 57. fourth difference is 1)

Can you give an example of a real life application of a cubic, quartic, and/or quintic equation? Like your example of photons on the surface of a sphere, how in computer games they use a quadratic equation to simulate that. I'd also like to hear more about that actually!
