Confused...this doesn't break the mesh up into its separate layers!! It just adds an outline. What if we want to convert the mesh into an object with the colours/layers intact and editable?

Gd evng sir.... I have one doubt... Why it's difficult to apply mesh in object after using pathfinder tool.... Actually I used pathfinder to make hole in object. Then I tried to use mesh in that.. But it's not working... Will u pls help me to know why sir...?
