This is potentially the last short-length content I will do (for the time being), as for this and prior video I was trying to learn more editing concepts (green screens, layers, etc).

I will try my best to keep posting more of these mindset videos to help you along with your coding journey.

This was me until I got a job. Now programming just feels terrible because I'm forced to pump out bad code and never get to actually apply any of the stuff I learned. I still try to do hobby projects but doing it for money sucked most of the fun out of it for me..

Hell yeah, so many facts. I just landed my first programming job a couple of months ago, and ever since I've been trying to find enjoyment again in my personal projects. Sometimes it's just hard because a job can be draining.

Setting a mindset where you are trying to create something from your own ideas and being able to execute, is what makes it fun for me. Just have to remember to take it easy and not put too much pressure on yourself.

This video is really good for the ones who have a negative mindset about coding. It is really time consuming and you will be having a lot of struggeling. But keep it mind, you can always get better with time. Also think about it, technology is just evolving more and more every year. My main motivation is that i know that my future me will thank me for not giving up on coding. I see it as a hobby and i know that it will be really usefull for the future to have the knowledge i have. My first year learning C++ was a living hell cause i just couldnt understand why i didnt learn fast enough. But then i realised after giving up for over 1 year that if i do it for fun instead of trying to become an expert the first monrh i will learn even quicker since it is something i find fun to do. A lot of writing here but hope this made someone rethinking giving up on programming 💀

Another fun project to do, is to create a level editor for a game that is easy to mod. It takes a long time, butt it is worth it, because it's fun. It also helps if you really enjoy that game.

Absolutely agree with finding your niche! When I first started web development I gave up for many months. Returned, and gave up again. So on so forth. Until I found about creative web development which merges game development, 3D digital art, graphic design, motion/interaction/UI/UX design and web development. That's when I really started to like programming!
