Hi guys. In this video I share the concept of a 'coding menu' and how that really kickstarted my coding habit.

The first 12 seconds described my current situation perfectly. Every day I wake up intending to code and build a project but I get anxious and stressed and start wasting my time. Definitely gonna try this method from now on.

As a computer engineering student that worked in various job areas and companies in software engineering, i salute you sir. I was always a thinker of "certificates doesn't mean anything, only way that you can prove yourself about a job area is taking the job and learning through the way" and my colleagues, hell even my friends in my university laughed at me and i was thinking that maybe i was wrong. But when i came across your video about how to wrongly learn programming i was happy that i was not alone in that mindset. Subbed to your channel cheers ❤

I figured it out. When I watch a tutorial, I note down the key concepts I need for my project instead of precisely following it

Just began coding recently, and to be honest the most important thing i've learnt is to just code without worrying about perfection and just learn overtime, just like anything in life you are not going to be perfect at it and nor should it be perfect. To be good at something not only does it take countless hours but you have to fail and realize that there is much to learn within this field. Best of luck and wishes to all reading this <3

Another place for excellent projects is the "build-your-own-x" repository. Nice vid.

This is so true. Having an exact time to your task really boost your productivity. In my job, we implemented where each task has estimated date and time. It's a challenge, you feel the guilt when you didn't meet it. This is recommended especially for beginners.

I didn't think much of this video, but I decided to give this a try. Holy shit! this technique is very helpful in deciding what to study/code when you have limited time. Thank you bigBox :)

Man you're the best. I started my coding journey a little over 3 months ago. For the love of all that's sacred please continue making vids. They are extremely appreciated.

A lot of your videos seem to be targeted towards people who are just starting to code but I’ve been coding for maybe 6 years now and recently many other things have come up that have made programming hard for me to do (even if I love programming a lot) so this video is still super useful to me

Finally my Uni exams ended and now I am gonna start coding everyday and manage my time and energy better.

Thx Bigbox. Learning JS, and what to work on is always what stops me from practicing and results in just falling into tutorial hell again. Definitely going to use this Google doc.

True, we all need a system to code everyday. Even if we do very little we should do it everyday. That's what I've learned over the years.

This is amazing. You’re a breath of fresh air!

I have really been struggling with consistency and this is exactly the kind of stuff I need!

Thank you. I love the videos and I’m so glad the algorithm recommended you to me
