Nobel Prize notwithstanding, Sir Roger must still be one of the most underappreciated physicists of the past century. Certainly, very, very, few others have so deeply advanced our physical knowledge of the world in the manner that he has.

Is this from a recent interview that we can see a longer version of?

I thought that Schrodinger disagreed with Born's probabilistic interpretation? Rather than thinking there was something wrong with his equation he believed that it described something physical.

Maybe the question is "what is meant by locality." No local hidden variables and no FTL signals, so what if entangled particles are local to each other via hyperspace/wormholes. Has anyone pulled an Einstein and said, therefore entangled and separated particles must actually retain locality?

Anyway, no local hidden variables and no FSL signals would require that the state of a particle becomes determined....by non-material things, or not-things if you want. The final state is not determined by the prior state of the physical universe. Or we can redefine locality.

R.Penrose is one of the most brillant mind in mathematical physics. Deep respect and admiration.
