Variables are like boxes that can store data. You can add to the box, take away from the box, remove the contents and replace the box with new contents. Therefore variables are not just numbers. x = "Coding is awesome" y = 9 z =1, so y+z will equal 10. A main point is anything between " " is a string and is stored as text. I'm an ICT teacher and I've found that a good way to teach kids coding is video games using things like Unity because you C# and getting them to build web apps and Android apps.

We love teaching children to code! I have a 14-year-old daughter and my video would have looked just like that because it is very difficult to teach your own child. As a Code Ninjas owner, I am so happy to create a space where my children can learn to code and other children ages 4-14! Thank you for the video.
