It can be very difficult to find time in the day to play guitar when you're super busy. Lot's of people wish they had more time to devote to improving at music but feel discouraged by an overwhelmingly busy schedule. The truth is that you can make a ton of progress and consistently improve simply by practicing for 10 minutes each day, as long as you focus and have a game plan. In this series I am going to break common subjects into 10 minute practice routines over the course of a 7 day period. The most important things are to practice at least 10 minutes everyday, and to have an organized approach to very specific subjects.
Let me know about which subjects you'd like me to cover, I want to help.

I wish you had done (or would do) more of these. Some really great practice ideas. I also appreciate the score/tab - the extra touch that makes these even more accessible and likely to get used. ;)

All your videos are pretty damn awesome though so whatever it is, keep up the good work!

Thank you for your videos, Dr. Levin. I am trying to do these exercises every day.

It's a good way to get a feel for polyrhythms too. Ex: If you're doing 2:3, make 2 groups of 3, then add in a rhythm that repeats after 2 beats.

2 groups of 3: xoo xoo
2 beat rhythm: xox oxo
product: xox xxo

After that, play the first beat of each group with one hand, and the rhythm you put in with another. At this point you have a polymeter, but they're similar in the same way that multiplication and division are. It can easily be abstracted to a polyrhythm after you feel the groove.

Another good lesson, leaves room for some modification, like swinging the 8th notes. Makes for a challenge! I've done something similar but with changing the feel of guitar licks.

Where can I get one of those guitar wigs? Does it improve my tone? Does it make my neck faster?

I saw a video with Alex Machacek who demonstrates some of the exercises that you proposed... Is there any possibilities that you borrowed these routines from him? Not trying to bash or anything

What chord were you playing in your example?
