What’s so great about this is I felt the same way about reboot. It was everything I’ve missed about going to the movies in the 90s. It was all sorts of hilarious and heart warming. I truly miss those days and it’s a beautiful thing to relive that.

My father and I were never close. We never found a way to communicate. In fact it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say he hated me. And the feeling was pretty much mutual. He’s been dead for about 15 years as well, and looking back the only times that I ever felt any connection with him was watching movies. Every now and then we found a film that we both loved, sometimes a very unlikely choice, and in hindsight I wish I could have talked with him more about those movies and maybe why we both loved them.

I was born 2 months after Kevin, my dad loved films we used to go together and he's gone now. I have the same feeling going to the flicks dad's sat with me watching the same film. I have the same thought on cinema. keep up the good work thank god you're were the 20% chief!

I think Scorsese was alluding to the inevitable, long-winded ott action of comic book movies being non-cinema. There's character building, interesting story telling and emotion for sure... but they always seem to degrade into a 20 minute city smashing explosion filled drag.
